Our 40 Book Challenge is off to a great start! Congratulations to three of my students that were the first to have met or exceeded reading ten books this year!.

Our 3rd and 4th graders put science into action by building their very own solar ovens! Students explored how the sun's energy can be used to create heat and then tested their ovens by making delicious s'mores! Along the way, they learned about matter changing states as they observed the chocolate change from a solid to a liquid when heated. What a sweet way to learn about science!

The Priddy Athletic Department is excited to announce the start of what we hope becomes a long-standing tradition in our community, The Priddy Little Pirates Basketball Clinic!
Throughout the month of October, we will be hosting a FREE basketball clinic every Thursday for all 1st through 5th grade boys and girls. The clinic will be led by our coaching staff alongside our outstanding Priddy student-athletes, providing a fun environment where our younger students can learn the fundamentals of basketball, improve their skills, and build relationships with our older athletes.
Our goal is to invest in the future of Priddy athletics while creating an opportunity for our younger Pirates to grow their love for the game. Best of all, there is absolutely no cost to participate!
We encourage every 1st-5th grade student to sign up and be a part of this exciting new program.
To register your child, please email Coach Joshua Reese at joshua.reese@priddyisd.net, and we will get them signed up and added to our system.
We can't wait to see our future Pirates in the gym this October!

We are proud to recognize three outstanding Priddy Pirates who continue to LEVEL UP and make a positive impact on our school!
Teacher of the Month — Mr. Jeremy Salois
Mr. Salois teaches Secondary Science and also serves as our Technology Director. Although this is his first year as a Priddy Pirate, he is already making a name for himself! His passion for science and technology is commendable, but what really stands out is his willingness to take initiative. Mr. Salois is a true “see a need, fill a need” kind of guy. He is always looking for ways to help, improve, and make Priddy ISD better. We are lucky to have him on our team!
Elementary Student of the Month — MariaLuisa Navejas
MariaLuisa was nominated by her teacher, Mrs. Naglieri, for her outstanding work ethic and positive attitude. She comes to school ready to learn, works hard, and is a positive influence on those around her. We are proud to have MariaLuisa representing our elementary Pirates!
High School Student of the Month — Matthew Schwartz
Matthew is a senior who represents what it means to be a well-rounded Priddy Pirate. He is involved in athletics, FFA, Ag Mechanics, Academic UIL, NHS, and much more. His attendance is phenomenal, and his discipline record is spotless. Matthew leads by example through his involvement, responsibility, and commitment to doing things the right way.
After graduation, Matthew plans to attend Tarleton State University and pursue a career in accounting. We are excited to see what the future holds for him!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our students, families, and community members who supported the Little Caesars Fundraiser! Together, we raised $2,413, and every dollar will go right back to our students through awards, prizes, A & AB Honor Roll celebrations, and outstanding attendance parties!
