Priddy ISD is now accepting out-of-district transfer students! We’d love to visit with you about joining the Pirate Family. Stop by anytime or give us a call at (325) 966-3323.

Priddy ISD family, we need your help!
Priddy ISD is hosting TWO nights of playoff football at 7:00 p.m. in Priddy:
🏈 Tonight: Zephyr vs. Evant
🏈 Tomorrow: Oglesby vs. Blanket
Our Booster Club concession stand could really use some extra hands—especially tomorrow night since we’ll also have a home girls basketball game going on.
We are looking for volunteers to help work the concession stand.
Volunteers will receive:
✅ Free meal
✅ Free admission to the game (just let the gate worker know you’re helping in concessions)
✅ Community service hours if needed
If you’re willing to help, please:
➡️ Just show up a little early, or
➡️ Text Connie Grelle at (325) 451-0204
Thank you for supporting our students, our athletes, and our school!

Veterans Day Program

The FFA LDE teams competed at District this morning. Awaiting results now, so incredibly proud of this group of kids and how far they have come this LDE season!

Wow! What an incredible start to our teacher workday!
Here at Priddy ISD, we truly embody what it means to be a Professional Learning Community.
A huge thank-you to 5th grade teacher Heather Ellis for leading engaging sessions on Gamma, Spark Space, IXL, and sharing your Fast and Furious Science teaching methodology!
Special thanks also to our outstanding Middle School Reading teacher, Mrs. Vicki Peters, for teaching us about SCR (Short Constructed Response) and ECR (Extended Constructed Response) strategies. These approaches help students craft thoughtful, evidence-based answers to text-based questions, with varying levels of complexity—using her modified Book, Head, Heart method.
Finally, a big thank-you to Mr. Herrera for the informative lesson on Securly Classroom, a powerful digital classroom management tool that empowers teachers to monitor student activity, view screens, lock devices, push websites, close tabs, and block distractions to keep learning on track.
The staff at Priddy ISD truly demonstrate a growth mindset—always eager to learn, share, and support one another—because we know we’re all on the same ship, sailing toward success together!
