Our Cross Country kids represented us well today at the Brownwood Cross Country meet. Great job pirates. If you want to see them in action check them out next Wednesday ( 9/2) in Zephyr. High school 9am. JRH at 4pm
💙💛 Learning About Our Emotions! 💛💙
Our wonderful counselor, Maleah Gunter, spent some time with our 3rd and 4th graders teaching an important lesson about emotions—how to recognize them, understand them, and handle them in healthy ways.
We are so thankful for Mrs. Gunter and the care she puts into helping our Pirates grow not only academically, but socially and emotionally too!

Don't forget to come see the Cheerleaders this Saturday in Comanche on the square outside of Woven Roots for some homemade baked goods!
The first week of music lessons with Mr. Bingham was a success! Look at those happy faces! Mr. Coker even picked up a guitar and learned a few notes!
Fall is right around the corner and that means Fall Fest will be here before we know it. The junior high students are responsible for collecting donations for the silent auction. Themed baskets, vouchers for services, gift cards, home goods, spa and self-care products, toys, games and seasonal items are all great donation ideas. Debra Niemann gets into her work and is a wonderful librarian that comes to our school once a week. Thank you Mrs. Niemann for loving our kids.
Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd are running to the weekend! With a great game of flag tag, we are working on running, spatial awareness, and dodging. We had a fun day. We are building the future here in Priddy. Have a great 3 day weekend everyone! See y'all Monday!

It’s pizza time, Pirate Nation! For the next 4 weeks, Priddy ISD students will be selling Little Caesars Pizza Kits and Meal Deal Codes to raise money for our students!
100% of the funds raised will go directly toward Honor Roll and Attendance awards for Priddy ISD students! Every purchase helps us recognize and reward our Pirates for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to showing up and doing their best!
The at-home Pizza Kits are perfect for a fun family pizza night, and the Meal Deal Codes make it easy to grab Little Caesars while supporting our students.
Each student is competing to sell the most, so reach out to your favorite Pirate for their individual link! We need everyone’s help to reach our goal!

Priddy ISD received a congratulatory letter from the Commissioner of the Texas Education Agency for achieving an A rating in 2026. Congratulations to all who impacted our students in such a positive way.

Pre K PE ended the week with a familiar old PE game. Parachute day!! They loved it, we also got to play with balloons today! Thank you for the great week. Have a great weekend. We will see everyone Monday.
After today’s pep rally and the announcement of our AMAZING accountability results, we kept the celebration going! Our students, staff, and community enjoyed snow cones 🍧, “A” shaped cookies, snacks, and plenty of time to visit and celebrate together!
Days like today remind us that we are more than a school—we are a family. It truly takes a village, and this accomplishment belongs to our students, teachers, staff, parents, and entire Priddy community.
