At Priddy School, we value student input in decision making. Our Superintendent Advisory Committee, comprised of one or two students per grade level, K-12, assists with district-level decision making and provides student leadership of important activities such as Teacher Appreciation Week.
This summer, Co-Presidents Brenden Seago and Catfish Baird, both seniors, assisted faculty and staff with reviewing the campus/district needs assessment and improvement plan.
These student leaders plan to carry this information back to the Student Advisory Committee to study ways to collect more student voice, effect meaningful change on campus, and empower more students to participate in leadership activities.
